Window cleaning FAQS
Window cleaning FAQS
Do you clean windows in bad weather?
Generally, yes! Although we don't tend to work in high winds and heavy rain, windows can be cleaned safely and effectively in most weathers.
If I take up a regular service, how often will my windows be cleaned?
For residential clients we offer an 8 weekly cleaning schedule. We aim to clean your windows to such a standard that they remain clean for as long as possible. From our years of experience we have concluded that an 8 weekly schedule is suited to almost every job.
Commercial clients such as shops, restaurants, offices, flats etc may require a more personalised schedule, which we are happy to discuss.
How will my windows be cleaned?
In most cases we will use the water fed pole system. This is the safest and most effective way of cleaning windows. We are however fully experienced in traditional methods, so will always use whichever method is best suited to each specific job type.
Iv had a bad experience with the water fed pole system in the past, what makes you different?
Put simply, our years of knowledge and utmost dedication to quality of work. We know all windows are different, from style, frame type, even glass type. As such each window needs to be cleaned differently, specific to the window type. We have perfected our technique over the years to ensure we are fully prepared for every situation. We will not leave a window until we are fully satisfied with the finish.
How do you access my property?
If required we can send a text reminder on the evening before each visit to ensure any agreed access point can be left unlocked for us to gain access.
What happens if you damage my property?
We will take utmost care in ensuring no damage is caused during our visit. Although if in any instance we do cause damage, we are covered with public liability insurance up to £1,000,000. Thankfully, in all our years of business we have never had to use it!
How can I pay?
We accept cash or cheques on the day. If you are not home when we come, we will leave a receipt. You can then send us a cheque or pay by bank transfer. Our bank details are on our receipts.
